Terms of Service

Last revised: September 10, 2026

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using Crapht ("the site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. What Crapht is

Crapht is an open technical commons: a place to document builds, publish journals and notes, follow learning paths, and share work with other builders. The service is provided as-is and is currently in early, active development.

3. Your account

You sign in with GitHub or a magic link sent to your email. Signing in creates your account automatically — there is no separate registration step. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your sign-in method (GitHub account or email inbox) secure.

4. Your content

You own what you create. By publishing a build, journal entry, or note on Crapht, you grant Crapht a non-exclusive license to host, store, and display that content on the site (including on public pages and feeds, according to the visibility settings you choose).

You can set each artifact to public, unlisted, or private. You are responsible for what you publish and for having the right to publish it.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use Crapht to publish illegal content, malware, harassment, spam, or anything that infringes someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.

6. No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uptime, data preservation, or that the service will meet your needs. Early-stage software breaks sometimes; back up anything you cannot afford to lose.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crapht and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site.

8. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance. The date of the latest revision is shown below.

9. Contact

Questions about these terms: reach the operator via GitHub (github.com/olamilawson).
